BIOGRAPHY

• Born 1973 in Melbourne, Australia
• Educated at La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Arts (Media Studies)
• Worked at The Age newspaper and various real estate agents in advertising
• Self employed in Real Estate marketing as copywriter

Artistic statement: Coming from the hard edge of advertising and a very creative family, Sue found it easy to relax when she was creating. From tapestries to scrapbooking, hand-crafting invitations and hand-painting plant pots, Sue found herself ‘at home’. Dabbling since 2003, Sue creates simple yet effective pieces of monochromatic art that take on the environment they live. Her love of bold striking colours and texture make Sue’s pieces a talking point at any dinner party.
